¡Hola, mis Pequenos! : D
So now I'm back for three days of the VBT in Lauenburg / Elbe. If 'yes about time that I have something to obliquely ibe e ... So because:
On 7 June was a Sunday, I brought my parents to the station Kassel-from where dissipation at 10:30 clock my train to Lüneburg. It remains to mention that we are on the way in the car noticed that my return ticket incorrectly on the 7th and not on the 13th June was issued. So my mother with a completely pessimistic unnerved daughter in tow for the first time raced to a nice gentleman behind a switch and we all thank God at the last minute to get settled yet, so I just in time to the train managed.
After my dad totally oversized luggage had left balancing on the train (which incidentally I would also quite skillfully itself, but whatever you finally fathers?), I searched my first compartment , and found beaten to five minutes finds that it was right in front of my nose. From there I really do not feel everything, balancing the heavy suitcases into the luggage rack, so I just put him in the hall - pretty antisocial, so no more durchkonnte. ;)
During the following three-hour train ride I kibbles a cheese roll, five rice cakes and a liter of water (the latter, after I've made now well acquainted with train toilets, maybe not quite as was smart - damn confirmation bubble -_-), I read my reading French (Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran , highly recommended) to the end and even made an exception to my English homework. I also talked a long time excited with a very nice older gentleman named Alphonse, who found it really great that I could speak three languages (French and English in which I am more of a failure, he needed indeed not to know). Then when I arrived
around 13:30 clock in Lüneburg, there were already some other YFUler, waiting also on the train connection to Lauenburg. First of all, we all sat in silence as ... then it was me after a few minutes stupid and I against my babbles else oh yes so shy type just the girl next to me. With her and a few others came something going, which is known universally as otherwise slow conversation. After we had sat on the train still hesitant together, we came in Lauenburg, a cute little town on, and were equal to two team leaders, and Kathleen Triet, being received.
team, so called from YFU former exchange students who are volunteering at their own school in the organization further and lead the preparation weeks for new generations of ATS.
went with them it's in a 20-minute Walk to the hostel, along accessible on the Elbe.
were there we put equal first with all sorts of games to get to know us. For example, was all a piece of paper stuck with a term which in my case, "Robin" on the back and then you could guess once who you were. After we had done this during unpacking in our rooms, we now had the equivalent of his own concept see, eg, "Little Uncle" and "Lord Nelson", "Wicked" and "The strong men, "etc. - my partner was Batman.
were with me still Nele and Annika from Lower Saxony and Thuringia Marie from the far one room, and I must say that I am really happy with these roommates have had, all very nice, dear girls. :)
...
It would take too long to enumerate here all we have done. Also, I would so spoil the surprise future ATS, which launched perhaps to this page. ;)
just say this: among the highlights, there were a volleyball tournament (my team was at least the third of eight! : D), a very moving eyewitness report on the period of National Socialism ', The Rose AG, the International Dinner followed by AG, TTTS, in which section of my group at best and this with an incredible Price was awarded a prize: a BMW! : D
was also incredibly funny and the colorful evening and the following night hike was great! The wake up call has not slept at least two of six days, in our group, we have diligently trees painted bears (or at least what Moritz as "Bears" designated ;) played ...) and the strawberry game, the YFU Post delivered every day on time nice messages and one or the other from among the Lama YFUlern, we have the acquaintance of amoebae, chickens ( some of them were really funky !), monkeys, old men with long white beard, jungle women, hip hoppers and frog Mama, Papa
frog
, Grandpa
frog, baby frog and the jó ; made ven hardcore, played by tactics , founded a sect fränngggische with high beer consumption We have talked about male and female trees were sometimes real "aggro, old man!" - and have incidentally learned a lot about ourselves and our upcoming exchange year. :)
And when the nights are often quite long and the bedtimes were therefore relatively short, so we felt the tight daily schedule is often only four liters of coffee, have survived (illustrative per capita per day: on second day was at seven in the evening or coffee in the pot - was two days later after the breakfast nothing there!), have the two AGs per day (except on arrival and departure), in which I have probably learned more than in the past two months at the school, (almost) always fun and have many previously answered questions in my head.
also did it just really good to finally be time to be together with people who have the same concerns as you do, because even if my other friends to make an effort: to understand me in this situation only other prospective exchange students! Evening was so often talked until late into the night in the rooms, which was pretty cool. The room, incidentally, were really good - well, at least for a hostel. Only the pillows were a little too hard for me personally - I just slept without, which was convenient. Some taller people also reported that their feet would be back to peep from their beds ... because I was actually really happy to be measured only 1.69 m. ;)
Insgesmat it was a great, fun and above all incredibly busy week, I miss the friends I made here (Phil, my little ghetto warrior), the AGs, the nightly bedtalks ! Neles Arömer , the most profound and detailed discussions in love with some other ... and now I can not wait to really nciht even more, finally about to rise into the air and schwuppediwuppedi to fly to Chile!
Before you now with a few photos Rosewall (my memory card has gezickt, so I do not have your own photos -> at this point so a big thank you to Triet, of which I and the family photo 've got, and Leon, which I ripped the rest of his SchülerVZ photo album), I must get rid of something else:
Before I went to the VBT, I thought I was already very well prepared. Now that I'm back from the VBT, I must admit I was not! I had just about so many things still did not think at all, it was almost frightening! But now, and I am quite sure I'm ready for my really ATJ!
:)
