holaaa! : D
At some certain holidays, of course, first I want to wish all FELIZ NAVIDAD and that it's good in añ o nuevo slips! :)
Hmmm ... it really is hard to believe that half of my exchange year is actually almost early as ! 5 are here now for 11 months ... my return flight, my parents were told, incidentally, is probably on 6 July 2010 place - and come back even though of course I miss my family and friends in Germany, I really do not want, at the moment at least, not yet My host sister MCIH asked repeatedly whether I really safe. am that there is no way, half a year longer to stay:) No, unfortunately there is not, I always tell her then, also, I think I have with my German school later to become an even better opportunity in the profession than with a Chilean university degree .. . no sé , I really do not know. Why are there no fucking expert on such matters? I need 'just one because I plan to eventually no 0-8-15's future. >.>
But now I have fortunately not yet to think about such things. Did so for 6 months here! :)
Sun , now finally on the events this month :
early December went off the graduation ceremonies. These have in Chile are two parts is an official award of the degree certificate with the family, sometimes friends, and teachers, and the other part of a "Gala", so basically just a normal night at the disco, but with festive clothes , is therefore an elegant dress for the girls (in some cases, one can argue, of course, always check the was really elegant now, but oh well ..^^) and feet r the boys suit, by the final year courses organized and will be allowed to come to the invitation only (ie friends, parents are rather out of place ^ ^). I was present at two of these celebrations, which was one of a private school (San Francisco de Asis ) and the other from my Liceo. The
of San Pancho, as here, all call the San Francisco, was so boring times above, for the first time you had to do to an eternally-long church service and then during the ceremony at least 3 or 4 mums on the Bu getrippelt teeth and may have tears in a speech of at least three fully written babbling DIN-A-4 sheets exactly the same, because of they are so so proud of the little children etc. A mother would not have even passed? No! It had to be three or even four. Afterwards
was fortunately only one student speech that was actually quite beautiful and touching - but then the director of the school, a nun in her late fifties, Bolivia, with a face like three hundred days of rain, including thunder and lightning, in a mile-long speech, just back through the speech, some students become more alert audience replied straight back into a deep sleep state comatic. -.- ZZZZ
Well .. The gala will probably have been even worse be boring and technical, I mean ... well, on the day that I could not! xD
The testimony of Liceos delivery was shorter, although in the Liceo of 200 students have been adopted, and the San Pancho only 30 ... The numbers speak volumes, I think! >> I sang in the choir, had extra for the Chilean national anthem by heart, learn, finally, could not accrue to the text in hand, when all the other proud and blaring out of your head out their national anthem. ;) also I had me one of these terrible Jumper borrow from a friend, she has not been about my size, unfortunately, is smaller but like most Chilean women than I, so my part was a little short .. care had to stop with the girls run up jumper, and since many do not have (they weil.. ugly. are!) and I had to borrow as a "very few somewhat corpulent girls looked even worse from a lot I ... from there ... ;)
Here are some pictures of the two Lizenziaturfeiern (which are of the galas have become nothing >,>):
San Francisco:
Liceo:
Yes. Good. Ahem, what else?
My little host brother Matias was komunniert. well, first was just ne ! Communion, just as in Germany, I would guess ^ ^ I do not get some pictures:
... the most important addition to Christmas and New Year event this December were of course no doubt the Präsidentsc h aftswahlen the Republic of Chile.
These are held every four years, the last time so in 2005 (and in fact, in 2006, as well as this year also had b eim first round (always around mid-December) two Candidates, the majority of the votes, but no absolute majority, so the following year held a ballot. The last time won the still-present President Michelle Bachelet the socialist Concertación.
next year on 17 January will then decide whether this week and for the next four years Sebastián Pi ñ era or Eduardo Frei in the Moneda (Mint), the government palace in the heart of Santiago feeds.
I do not want to talk much about politics, because it seems neither of the two remaining candidates to be great to all (free time was President of Chile, and after all that I GE s a g t was, he probably has the baby ni c ht rocked quite so great or made after the stories of some simply nothing , and Pi ñ era has apparently not really a clean slate in terms of its business) - I could go all the conditions a little bit Wahlsyste explain, for those who's interested.
So. In Chile, every citizen can choose the 18 or older. Women and men choose know why-the-Vulture- separated by gender, each has only one vote, the elections are equal, secret, etc. ... The presidential candidates
-makers, at least 40 years old and selbstverständli c h Chilean citizen-up inside. They must also belong to a party or when will they be independent, 36,000 signatures of Chileans, supporting it, accumulate.
A president can be re-elected, but only in the next legislative term, a good example is the Se Nor Free: he was in 1998, already a single commission a l been elected president (I know ;, in the Wikipedia article tells it to something else, but the article is probably ziemli c h fehlerhaltig), but could ni c ht re-elected for the ensuing period of leave, and now, for e ine subsequent term, run again.
Chileans who live abroad or are physically unable to appear at the polling station, can not choose, because there are (still) no absentee voting at the moment, many are demanding, this, that a law is issued (or changed, no idea ..), so that in future people who are ni c is ht possible to go to the polls to choose can.
Here are a few election posters of Pi nera, free, and the two already eliminated candidates Jorge Arrate (Wikipedia page in English only present, Communist) and Marco Enriquez-Ominami (also in English only), party affiliation, but rather moderate left and my personal favorite.
way from the unfortunate policy and out to sample the December issue: Christmas! : D
I do not know if it ever here at Advent ni c ht are, or whether they just do not celebrate it as we in Germany, I've never been here at least for even a single word of Advent is one ...
the 24th here is a bit different than ours: the first time you stand, as always up late. If you got up, pulls you in itself, takes a shower, eat maybe a little bit, brushes her teeth ... and if a wife is aged 7-99, you start equal to then, it's cooking. This one is then n o rmalerweise employs quite well to 6.30 clock in the evening, then immediately served, and the work of about four hours will be swallowed up easily in 15-20 minutes. Thereafter, the common German exchange student generally hurts the stomach, as it gets lately always nasty stomach pain when they vi e l eat, be it ever so delicious ... UU
are clock at ten in the evening we then went to church for Mass, where children as well as in Germany, Maria Joseph, shepherds Co. and accumulate in disguise. However, they have listed at least in our worship no Stzück, but sat quietly as a kind of living decoration in front of the altar. My host cousin Camila (13 years) was the María and, above all ni c ht happy - she wanted to ni c ht be photographed, as we have talked briefly before the service. xD
The G ottesdienst is forever long, took almost two hours but I did it ni cht so bad, au ch if I as a Protestant, of course, all the really fun part, where you bring at least for short times then sit on the uncomfortable wooden benches brand "conveniently just back injuries! can stand up and represent the legs, so the Lord's Supper, unfortunately ni c ht could join, but oh well ... ;)
In general, the atmosphere is relaxed, who wants to can come in sweatpants to church and the choir / band made up of children and teens with blue jeans and these cute Santa cap with the red flashing lights that I have always wanted as a child. All sing loudly (no matter whether one is a singing talent or troll now ; D), clap, in a place of worship there is always all around him the hand and says "peace" no matter whether he / she knows now or ni c ht, the part is available in every service and precipitated I really like it that we should introduce in Mühlsen sometimes. Also explains that why my host Sweden s ter with me always in the vicinity of minos , mb bschen guys count our age, wants, and my host mother always says we are two but please stay close to them. ; D xD
After the church service is over (now it is too soon to be 12 then clock at midnight ^ ^), it chugs through very Dalcahue from Grandma to Uncle so and so, from Grandpa to second cousins, etc., to from twelve to wish Merry Christmas, there are family members who live far away, called, of course, also good Friends ...
and then begins the really fun part for the youth and young adults, because they gather for a campfire (this year, because it's raining, the BBQ shed an uncle) where you will spend hours Cola Rum, Fanta-Rum, Sprite Rum or ( very creative!) Rum drinks and told a farce after another, which can be quite funny if you like me with his host sister and a sits 18 to 26 years old horde of seven cousins, including her uncle's barbecue shack inclined friends, is in want of a radio (with the penultimate party got broken - no one knows how it is on the grill ...) with my iPod and listen to two mini-speakers (too) quiet music (but ni c ht really is important after all we are all potential winners of "Chile's Got Talent" and bawl
... especially int e teresting it was for me the way, whenever the iPod is a German-language song was the best and all at once " ; knew the text "(as if the English pronunciation and grammar through various strange ni c been ht bomb would have! xD) - there's nothing men are pigs by the doctors, intoned by a 24-year-old Chilean engineering student who also then to make matters worse, no c claimed h, he understood everything, after they were bringing him in his university had great English. I think he came to the site then also a huge fit of laughter on my part .. : 'D
After the other day only at half past one clock in the afternoon was quite awake again (which I've still saved my reputation as an early riser, because the rest stood at around three to ...), it was anzeihen only wash for easy setup, and then directly to the grandparents father's side, where we were worried how adorable always wanted to impose a chicken Cazuela . I did however after the big feast the night before and thanks to the cola-rum still not hungry. Now you have to know that "I have no hunger" is not an excuse to eat, you have this or something like that, you could be suddenly and unexpectedly fall from the meat. ;)
So I talked - now trained - my Gastoma to serve me, to please only the pure Casuelabrühe, without the meat, for that enough to feed three or four hungry tiger would, the giant potatoes, half the corn and the perceived two kilos of rice per portion - the details are natural c h as almost always humorous refresher article slight exaggeration .
After an hour more or less successful defense against the Cazuela if my form is still readily available in stomach pain we went straight to the other grandparents, where the Celebration of the day - how could it be otherwise - once again turn a lamb had to believe: Asado , friends! ;)
Here woman tried it again with the "No-please-no-Asado-me-hurt-the-stomach" technique, and this time was even miraculously left without much ado by the suppression Wittchen, so I together with my host sister t he and cousin who is also the sense definitely ni c ht after food was the afternoon spent stretched out on the large corner bench lying around the great furnace, where they look just gorgeous Titanic on DVD could overlap and grimacing for Nacha, the little screamer. After that the evening went
way again to the other grandparents, where we were - surprise, surprise! - Another asado was offered. I ate a little chicken, because the famine had become more and more stronger than the sagging stomach pain. ^ ^
The night I spent my Gas Cz West e r and my two cousins together in the guest house of one of the cousins, where watched late into the night DVDs.
All in all, a normal Christmas for me! ;)
